New Student & Kindergarten Registration

A NEW student is considered any student who is enrolling in a RRPS school for the first time and any incoming kindergarten students (except those who attend Shining Stars Preschool or the Montessori pre-kindergarten at Sandia Vista). Your child is also considered a NEW student if he/she WAS in a Rio Rancho School in the past but is not currently enrolled in a RRPS school. If your child currently attends Shining Stars Preschool or the Montessori pre-Kindergarten at Sandia Vista, he or she is a returning student. You are encouraged to attend Kindergarten Round-Up on April 29, 2015 and provide the required documentation. Then, beginning May 4, you may register your child through a link in your PowerSchool Parent Account.
April 29, 2015 Kindergarten Round-Up and New Student Registration 2:00 – 6:00 PM
- Birth certificate
- Proof of residence (MUST be one of the following: Utility bill – electric, gas or water, Lease agreement, House deed)
- Immunization records
If you do not have computer access or are unable to enroll your child online, you may register your child at the school.

UPDATE: We collected 67 pounds of pop tabs this year! We didn't win the contest; however we doubled the amount of pop tabs collected last year - AWESOME!! Save your pop tabs over the summer to get a jump on our contest next year...Can we double it again??
The Roadrunner Ambassadors want to encourage everyone to participate in this contest and show their Roadrunner Spirit!! Bring in as many pop tabs as you can, so we can fill as many containers as possible. Let us make a difference in the lives of those families who are supported by the Ronald McDonald House! Student arrival time on campus is 8:45. Supervision of students begins at that time. Please don’t drop your children off before 8:45 unless they are enrolled in the SAFE program.
